The Tudor Room

This room is thought to be the most haunted and is the oldest bedroom in the house having many of the original features including the Tudor Frieze and barrel ceiling. This room is also situated next door to the hidden room where the skeleton of a young woman was found. Many visitors have complained of feeling sick and dizzy in this room and a few people have fainted. Others who have dared to sit in a chair thought to have belonged to one of the wreckers who lived in the Manor have felt themselves being pushed or squeezed tightly. One visitor has taken a photo in this room which shows a picture of a face over the bed. Dare you spend the night in this room? The four poster beautifully carved Elizabethan bed is only 5’6” long and will be made more comfortable bed with 21st century bedding. There will be modern day electric heating warming the room. If you would like to stay a night in this room the cost of one nights stay including 3 course dinner served in the Great Hall and a full English breakfast served in the Buttery is £125 per person, based on two people sharing This price includes the shared use of the toilet and washing facilities of Fuchsia cottage.
